Juliann West

I have been a real estate professional for over five years and have multifaceted experiences to share with my clients. Over the years, I have had great successes working with Buyers and Sellers and have helped my clients have a rewarding and enjoyable real estate experience. After being on the ground floor of three start-up companies, I was lucky enough to find the right partners and now have the pride that comes along with ownership. As a result, every deal that my name is on is a reflection of my work ethic which I take very seriously.

My passion has led me to work closely with investors and developers. While helping investors find, finance, and renovate the property, I am hands on throughout the process. I enjoy working with investors to determine what the neighborhood trends are, so that they can best maximize their return with smart renovation decisions. I also love the challenge of working with developers. Whether it is working closely with them through the design process, tackling the challenges of rezoning, or pre-selling the project, my experience enhances this intricate process.

I am from Greenville, South Carolina and moved to the Charlotte area in 1991 to attend Winthrop University. I began my Real Estate career with a start-up company in the Ballantyne area. I was mentored closely and became an expert in financing and investment deals. While working with investor clients, I found NoDa and fell in love with the neighborhood’s uniqueness. I moved to NoDa several years ago and am proud to have experienced the growth and maturation of this great little neighborhood.

I pride myself in customer relations, as I know my business depends on my clients referrals. I enjoy finding creative solutions to financing dilemmas, and look at each deal as a new challenge. I truly am passionate about Real Estate, and enjoy making each transaction a smooth and enjoyable process for the client.

This past May I decided to sell my town home in NoDa, hoping to find a larger single-family residence that I could afford. Though I had purchased in the past, this was my first experience putting a place on the market while trying to find a new home at the same time. To say the least, I was a nervous wreck! I was not in a situation where I could pay two mortgages, one for the old and one for the new, and contingency offers are not commonplace in "hot market" Noda. My realtor, Juliann West, lead me through the process. She went above and beyond the call of duty, spending countless hours ensuring that my place would sell and I would fall in love with something else. Well, I did fall in love with a new place – right before I put my house on the market. Juliann showed me every house in the area in my price range countless times over. She wanted me to feel entirely assured in my final decision. With that said, the clock was ticking with an urgency to get my town home sold. I was panicked that I would lose the new house to another buyer while waiting for mine to sell. Juliann worked dilligently trying to sell my town home, beyond expectation. She even came to my town home to make my bed before a potential buyer arrived because I could not get home from work on time. It is a rare commodity to find someone like Juliann that will go the extra mile, especially someone that you feel is truly and sincerely looking after your best interests. The town home sold within 23 days on the market and I moved into my new house on June 15th. Juliann was the first at my front door with a bottle of wine the day I closed. I cannot express how highly I would recommend Juliann West as an agent. More than hard-working, she is intelligent and loyal to her clients. Juliann knows her business. I wouldn't be at home without her.
