Chantilly

Chantilly is located about 2 miles east of Uptown, between 7th Street and Independence Boulevard. Pecan Avenue is at its western edge, and is the main gateway to the neighborhood, and the Doral Apartments and Chantilly Park create the eastern border.

Though Chantilly isn’t condusive to cut-through traffic, nor the noise that comes with it, it is located between two of the most festive and busiest parts of town. Hop on Pecan Avenue and go south and the great shops and restaurants of Elizabeth are just a block or two away along 7th Street. Head in the other direction on Pecan and you are just a block or two from the antique and furniture stores of Central Avenue, the restaurants and bars of Thomas Street and Commonwealth, and the warehouses converted to businesses along Hawthorne and Central.
